NUT87 doesn't introduce a new design language — it reassembles the one the series already built. The finish standard, the lighting concept, the backplate material: all familiar. What's different is how they're arranged across a TKL layout, plus one detail that's new to this board alone.
Machined from a solid block of 6063 aluminum, then sandblasted to a 220-grit standard — the same finish used across the NUT series. The result is a soft, matte surface that resists fingerprints and holds up under daily use.
Between the front-facing lightbar on NUT65/NUT108 and the dual side lightbars on NUT75, the NUT series has wrapped light around nearly 180 degrees of the case. NUT87 takes that same music- and keystroke-reactive lighting and moves it to the top edge instead — facing the monitor rather than the desk or the sides.
A second lightbar sits just beneath the editing cluster — Home, End, Delete, and the arrow keys — a detail unique to NUT87's TKL layout.
NUT87 carries over the knurled aluminum backplate from NUT75, but swaps the tempered-glass option for a feather-textured finish — a different kind of detail for those who'd rather skip the mirror look.
Black, Silver, Orange, Red, and Ice Blue in anodized finishes, plus White in electrophoretic — one more option than NUT75's lineup, including a red that's new to the series.
The mechanisms here are ones the NUT series has already proven — carried over and applied to a different layout. A couple of details change along the way, but the foundation stays exactly where it's earned trust.
The case snaps shut with a magnetic ball-catch mechanism — no screws, no tools. Same tool-free opening the NUT series is built around, carried over to the TKL frame.
Inside, the daughterboard connects to the main PCB through pogo pins rather than a ribbon cable — so opening the case never risks snapping a connector or fumbling one back into place.
NUT87 keeps HMX Naihuang from NUT75, and adds a new option: Titanium Silver
Same self-developed web driver as the rest of the NUT series — no install required. On NUT87, Fn+P opens it directly, no extra steps to find it.
Every performance detail from the rest of the NUT series carries over untouched. Nothing gets dialed back to accommodate the wider layout — it's simply built to match it.
NUT87 hits 8000Hz polling in both wired and 2.4G wireless modes. At 8000Hz, the theoretical response time is 1/8000 of a second — 0.125ms — whether you're plugged in or not.
NUT87 connects however you need it to — USB-C for wired, a dedicated 8K receiver for 2.4G, or Bluetooth for switching between devices without a dongle.
Same as NUT75 — a dedicated physical switch on top of the case toggles between wired and wireless instantly. No settings to dig through, no combo to remember.
A 10000mAh polymer cell paired with a low-power wireless module — built for the kind of battery life that means you're not thinking about it.
Front height sits at a precise 19mm — low enough that your wrists rest naturally without a palm rest, taking the strain off before it builds up during long sessions.

The Lucky65 V2 PCB supports ANSI, ANSI Split Spacebar, ISO, and ISO Split Spacebar plate layouts. All plate configurations function identically to the default ANSI plate.
To ensure you have all necessary components, orders including non-ANSI plate layouts will receive an additional plate. Orders with the default ANSI plate will include a single plate.
All the extra plates are with FR4 material.
The keycap sizes for split spacebars are 2.25U(left) and 2.75U(right).
